se andate ala CNN c'e una articolo che dice

CNN) -- True or False: Switching from a Windows-operated computer to a Linux-operated one could slash computer-generated e-waste levels by 50%.

The answer is: TRUE

A UK government study in late 2004 reported that there were substantial green benefits to running a Linux open source operating system (OS) on computers instead of the ubiquitous Windows OS, owned by Microsoft. The main problem with Windows users was that they had to change their computer twice as many times as Linux users, on average, thereby effectively creating twice as much computer-generated e-waste.

The report, titled, "Office of Government Commerce: Open Source Software Trials in Government - Final Report" reported the following:

"There are also potential Green Agenda benefits, through reducing the energy and resources consumed in manufacturing replacement equipment, and reducing landfill requirements and costs arising from disposal of redundant equipment.

"Industry observers quote a typical hardware refresh period for Microsoft Windows systems as 3-4 years; a major UK manufacturing organisation quotes its hardware refresh period for Linux systems as 6-8 years."

ecco se avete un briciolo di inglese in poche parole dice che la m$ lo aiuta la Linux! :D
con i software che danno anche ad altri ovvero noi Linuxisti a voi del partito della m$!:D

cercavo de software che erano scritti per il piacere di crearli e non per soldi!
sto parlando di tutti quesi software che uso e alcune volta usi anche tu che leggi!

la lista è: BLENDER(grafica 3d),GIMP(fotoritocco) ,777z(compressore d ifile),EMULE(programma che utilizzano tutti ovviamente fatto da noi) ,CLAMWIN(anti virus)
FIREFOX (noto browser per serfare su internet),vlc(programma per ascoltare e vedere film),
KLITECODEC(programma il più completo per Windows per ascoltare musica ed film)
STELLARIUM(programma per vedere il sistema solare arriva anche fino all'ultimo pianeta scoperto!parlo del 10°pianeta)SCITE(programma per scrivere e creare programmi sia sotto Windows che sotto Linux),AMSN(programma simile ad windows live messenger)OPENOFFICE
(questo programma forse lo state utilizzando è il programma per creare i file word exel e powerpoint),TORC(gioco simile a granturismo),SUPERTUX(un gioco simile a super mario però in stile pinguinesco),FROZENBUBLE(gioco modalità arcade il gioco si può giocare anche in rete! io c'e lo anche sul nokia6630! ci ho fatto giocare un anno i miei compagni :D )

OK penso che sono finiti i priogrammi che abbiamo scritto per il windows non c'e ne fate pentire usateli bene questi software ma sopratutto per usarli al meglio se siete programmatori o anche se non lo siete!potete mandarci una mail al programma che si chiude senza che voi sapete il motivo e se mandate nell'e-mail il motivo del errore di programmazione in arte lo chiamiamo BUG cioè buco di programmazione e anche come lo avete provocato ne saremmo molti più felici così il software si migliora costantemente e non dopo un anno!come certi sistemi operativi
